For example, a client from Boston, who is a United States citizen, wants to get a student visa for his cousin.  The citizen is not a qualifying United States relative, but is older, a mentor, and wants to help.

Assume the citizen’s cousin is located in France.  The citizen would be hiring me to represent a client in France, and we can work on the case remotely.  Our client is not the citizen, but the French national who we never meet in person and we can help them from Plymouth, or Boston, or New York City.

In some cases clients will meet with Attorney Sheehan in a negotiated location, for example Attorney Sheehan met with a client in Arroyo Grande, California just a couple months ago, and will be meeting another in Cleveland, Ohio this fall.

Our goal is to overcome the strains of geography with remote representation wherever possible.  While Attorney Sheehan has three office locations for usual meetings, individual arrangements can be made.
